Patricia Fruchtnicht Withnell was born in New Orleans on February 4, 1948, and entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the age of 78. Patricia was the daughter of the late Estelle “Skippy” Fruchtnicht and Jacob Fruchtnicht. She was the sister of the late Buddy Wells, Jake Fruchtnicht, and Donald Fruchtnicht, and is survived by her sister, Edra Kay Sullivan.
Pat had a very outgoing, fun-loving personality. She loved animals, especially horses. She also loved children and was very generous to her friends and family. She was loyal and dedicated to Delta Air Lines, where she served for 47 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, February 19, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Boulevard, Metairie, LA. The Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 p.m., with Father Garrett O’Brien officiating.
The family would like to thank her special caretaker, Vida Soji, and Heart of Hospice for their compassionate care.
