Paul L. Ferrara Jr.

Paul L. Ferrara, Jr., age 62, entered into Heavens Gates on May 23, 2011. Devoted and loving father of Jennifer Marie Ferrara Dominque (Shaun E. Dominque) and Paul L. Ferrara, III. Grandfather of Shalynn Ferrara, Shane Ferrara, Savannah Dominque, Megan M. Ferrara, Britany J. Ferrara, Tiffany P. Ferrara and Breanna L. Ferrara. Son of the late Paul L. Ferrara, Sr. and Marie Pfister Ferrara. Brother of Karen F. Ohlsson, Cynthia A. Ferrara, Maria T. Johnson, Cyril L. Sexton and Angela L. Patin. Also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. A native of New Orleans and a resident of Avondale. Mr. Ferrara was the Chief of the Avondale Fire Department.

Relatives, friends of the family and members of the N.O. Amateur Radio Club, Avondale Fire Department, J.P.F.O. and J.P. Telecommunications Dept. are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Mater Dolorosa, 1230 S. Carrollton Ave., New Orleans on Friday, May 27, 2011 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie on Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm and on Friday beginning at 9:00 AM at Mater Dolorosa Church. Interment in St. Louis No. 3 Cemetery.
