Paul Vincent Touchard Jr.

Paul V. Touchard, Jr. entered into eternal rest after a short battle with lung cancer on October 16, 2013. Beloved husband of Edna Laterrade Touchard and the late Frances Morgan Touchard. Son of the late Paul V. Touchard, Sr. and Marguerite Howell Touchard. Beloved father of James Touchard, Marc Whitfield, Michelle Touchard, late Paul, III, and father in law of Mary Whitfield. Stepfather of Tiffany White, Anthony Laterrade, III, Sean Laterrade, Jason Laterrade. Brother of Anthony Touchard. Beloved grandfather of Ellie, Paige, Anna, and Matthew Whitfield, Chad Touchard, Erica Murphy, also survived by 9 step grandchildren. He is also survived by his dog Scooter. He loved Geography and History, and was a lifelong learner of these subjects. Paul also enjoyed traveling. He was a member of Plumber and Steamfitters Local Union # 60 and the former owner of Chalmette Net and Trawl. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Hwy on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 9:00 am. Interment in St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery, Louisa St. In lieu of donations to Lung Cancer Association.
