Paul Elliot Trouard

Paul Elliot Trouard Born in New Orleans and a resident of Metairie, he died peacefully at his home after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on Friday April 26, 2013 with his wife and daughters by his side. He was 63. Paul was a graduate of De La Salle High School and Loyola University with a B.A. in Accounting. He was retired from Orleans Parish School Board and was employed at Loyola University for the past 15 years. Paul was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and enjoyed his weekends spending time on the beach in Bay St. Louis, MS. Paul is survived by his devoted wife Carmel Mart Trouard, his loving daughters Lisa Trouard (Steven) McPherson, Renee Trouard (Neil) Fisher and Jennifer Trouard, 4 grandchildren Christian, Lauren, Elliot and Gabriel, siblings Phyllis Trouard (Price) Dodson, Sidney (Jane) Trouard Jr., Jeanne Trouard (Troy) Mixon, Stephen (Debbie) Trouard, and Robert (Michele) Trouard and many in-laws, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Paul was preceded in death by his parents Sidney E. Trouard and Anne Marie Prieur Trouard. The family wishes to express their heartfelt thanks to everyone who provided them with love and support. Visitation will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Homes, 4747 Veterans Blvd., Metairie, LA on Monday April 29, 2013 from 4 pm to 7 pm with a Mass beginning at 7 pm.
