Paula Mary DeCorte passed away September 26 at the age of 49, which is 98 in muscular dystrophy years. She was a graduate of Warren Easton High School, Delgado Community College, and the University of New Orleans earning a degree in accounting. She worked in New Orleans for the Department of Defense and the USDA National Finance Center. She is survived by her parents, Mary Rose Molinario DeCorte and John C. DeCorte; brother Raymond DeCorte and his wife, Susan; brother David DeCorte and his wife, Celeste; her nieces, Rachel DeCorte McCloskey and her husband, Mitch, and Emily, Cecilia, and Sophia DeCorte; and her nephews, Benjamin and Joseph DeCorte. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association and/or your local SPCA. Services at St. Clement of Rome Church, 3990 West Esplanade Avenue, Metairie, LA on Saturday, October 1, 2011 with visitation from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow.
