Ralph Oliver Brock

Ralph Oliver Brock, of Kenner, Louisiana passed away on Saturday October 22, 2022 after reaching the age of 86. After a brief battle with cancer, he passed away while recovering from a related surgery. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He was survived by his wife, Wilma Brock, his children Elizabeth Rohm (John) and Terry Brock, his grandchildren Laura Rohm and Jake Rohm (Victoria), his great grandson Cade Rohm, and his siblings Jerry Brock and Joan Frabbiele. Ralph was predeceased by his father Bosia Brock, mother Blanche Brock, daughter Marion Jopp, sister-in-law Donna Brock, and brother-in-law Jack Frabbiele.

Ralph was a member of the Deutsches Haus and sang with the Saengerchor. He enjoyed attending German singing conventions with his wife. Up until his surgery, Ralph spent several mornings per week at the East Jefferson Wellness Center working out. Ralph spent his free time watching college football and Saints football games, practicing his German, and donating blood to the East Jefferson Blood Bank. He was in the United States Army where he served in Germany and met his wife. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1956. He was a life member of the VFW Post 6640. Ralph worked until 1996, when he retired from his position as a claims man for RTA.

Ralph was a strong, proud, and good man. He is loved and will be missed by many!

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Service at LEITZ-EAGAN, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Thursday afternoon, October 27, 2022 at 1:00.
