He is preceded in death by his parents Lucien and Edna Marse Rougee, sister Mae Evelyn, and brothers Gerald and Raymond. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Marilyn Wood Rougee, daughters Mary and Michelle, granddaughter Magan Shea Mexic, sister Rose, and brothers Michael, Harold, Wallace, and Alfred.
Ralph enjoyed spending his days with his beloved family and friends. He was loved by all who knew him and he appreciated every day he had to go to church and be with his friends and family. The family thanks each and every person who truly loved and cared for him throughout his life and he will be sorely missed by all.
A memorial visitation for Ralph will be held at St. Christopher the Martyr Catholic Church, 3900 Derbigny St, Metairie, Louisiana beginning at 10:30 a.m. followed by mass at noon. A repass will be held at the Parish Center following mass. Committal will take place at a later date.
