Randall "Randy" James Miller

Randall “Randy” James Miller passed away on Thursday morning, March 16, 2017. He was 54 years old. Loving father of Brandon James Miller. Devoted son of Mergie Bergeron Miller and the late Wilson “Jay” Miller. Loving brother of Karen Sue Miller, Glenn Paul Miller, and Wayne Anthony Miller (Carol). Cherished uncle of Lillian Marie Miller. Grandson of the late Nolton Miller Sr., Edvina Miller, Aurelie Bergeron, and Mable Bergeron. Also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Randy was a native of Church Point, Louisiana and was a resident of Metairie for the majority of his life. He graduated from Grace King High School and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. After college, he joined his family’s business, J. Miller Enterprises, as a telecommunications technician. He was an avid sports fan, spending many weekends with his family watching the Saints and LSU. He also enjoyed live music, mainly watching his brother Wayne perform with his band. Randy was an especially compassionate person, who valued his relationships with friends and family, and always lent a helping hand to those in need. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Sunday evening, March 19, 2017 from 6:00 until 9:00. Visitation will be held again on Monday morning at HARGRAVE FUNERAL HOME, 1031 Victor II Boulevard, Morgan City, from 9:00 until 11:00, when a service will be held in the chapel.
