Randy Michael Thomassie Sr.

Randy Michael Thomassie, Sr., a resident of Luling, was born on February 17, 1981 and arrived home peacefully in the arms of our Lord on Wednesday, November 24, 2010. He is the loving father of “Lil” Randy M. Thomassie, Jr. The cherished son of Anne Zeller Thomassie of Luling and Hasden “Bob” J. Thomassie of Hahnville. The loving brother of Mary E. Zeller. His cherished brothers and best friends were Robert “Maja” J. Thomassie and Darren Sproles. Maternal grandson of Mary Brady Zeller and the late Harry P. Zeller, Sr.; paternal grandson of Ruby McClung and the late Hasden J. Thomassie, Sr. Randy is also loved by a host of nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. Randy was 29 years old and lived his life with gusto. He loved his Saints and always had a joke to tell (with a smile). There was never a quiet room when he was in it!

All friends and family are invited to come celebrate his life and bid farewell at Des Allemands Mennonite Church, 17447 Old Spanish Trail on Friday, December 3, 2010 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until service time. Interment will follow in St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.

In lieu of flowers a donation fund has been set up at First National Bank USA, Boutte, LA (985) 785-8411 to help the family defray funeral costs.
