

Survived by the following family. Son of devoted mother Elizabeth Regan and son of James J. Bravender III. Beloved brother of Michelle "Mimi" Bravender & Debbie "Digger Cher" Bravender Sacco(Luke). Also survived by 2 nephews, Bruce Bravender & Jude Tullier, 2 nieces, Kayla Bartholomew & Darbie Tullier, 1 great nephew, David Dufrene & 1 great niece Gabriella Daneshrad. Also survived by a host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other extend family members and friends.
Preceeded in death by his grandparents, Raymond Regan, Sr., Margie Gil Regan, James "Skeets" Bravender, Jr. and Louise "Lou La Belle" Fitch Bravender.
Born in New Orleans, June 19, 1970 as a devoted Catholic with special needs. At the age of 6 he moved to Alexandria, La to reside at St. Mary's Training School. At the age of 21 he transferred to the sister school Holy Angels Residential Facility in Shreveport, LA.
Ray-Ray's final days were spent with his mother, caregivers & staff from Holy Angels and most of all his devoted caretaker & loving sister "Digger Cher" who loved & adored him to his peaceful end on earth.
Special thanks to the Staff & care takers of Holy Angels who deeply loved and truly cared for Raymond. The family is most grateful to God for sharing Raymond with us and allowing him to spend his years at such an amazing facility. Raymond was much loved and was an inspiration to all that knew him. He was sent home to heaven with his "Angel wings". Loving memories of Ray-Ray being "tough" and the center of attention will always remain in our hearts.
Relatives & friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at Leitz- Eagan Funeral home 4747 Veterans Blvd, Metairie, LA on Tuesdsay, January 21, 2014 @ 1 pm. Visitation will be from 11 am- 1 pm, interment will be at St. Patricks's #1 Cemetery.
