Beloved husband of Marylyn Legendre after 49 years of Sacred Marriage.

Loving father of Ray Legendre Jr. (and wife, Gina) and the late Rachell Ruth Legendre.

Devoted grandfather of Emily Jo Legendre, Haley Marie Legendre, Tyler Paul Daigle, Jeremy Anthony Randazzo and Evan George Randazzo.

Brother of Carolyn Caronia.

Son of the late Ruth Emily Tucker and Anthony Leon Legendre Sr.

Also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Ray was a Military Police Officer in the United States Army, a retired Insurance agent with American National Insurance Co. after 43 years of service and will always be loved and remembered by all who knew him.

Aged 70 years, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and a resident of Jefferson, Louisiana for the past 20 years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Visitation from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Wednesday March 12, 2014 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

Private interment will be held at a later date.
