Ray was my childhood friend. We played football together as kids. He was always a star. We competed against each other in high school. It was so great to see him again at the Holy Cross-Jesuit football reunion game this past year. We met at midfield during half time and gave each other a big hug. Great childhood memories! Rest In Peace, Ray Ray.

Ah Ray, to say you will be terribly missed is such an understatement. To engage with Ray was to encounter Jesus and Ray’s passion for Jesus and to encounter the love of both Jesus and Ray. Our hearts are broken for his dear family and for ourselves and our church family. Such a massive hole has been left. But what an amazing legacy has been left!! His was an exemplary life to which we should all aspire!! Through the tears of our heartbreaking sorrow we are also able to rejoice with Ray as he now beholds the glorious face of his beloved Lord and Savior Who welcomed him with arms wide open. We are so thankful Ray, for all you have meant to all of us and all you have done in furthering the Kingdom for God’s glory !! And we are so thankful to Him for saving you and using you so mightily for His glorious purposes, and for letting us have the joy of your presence among us for a little while here. We look forward to eternity together, our brother!! Until we arrive we are blessed that you are filled with joy unspeakable!! Love you always!!

Today is the day we celebrate your life, Ray! There is no way to go thru it all - it would take weeks. Your love of the Lord will be forever ingrained in my mind! Your servant attitude and your love of life. The memories that I will forever see in my mind are you raising your hands in worship in church and you sitting at an Alpha table sharing the Gospel. Your memory will live on in the hearts and minds of so many forever! I thank God that I had the privilege of knowing you!

We pray God to grant the entire Prat’s family and Lakeview Christian Centre the fortitude & Grace to bear this irreparable loss. Our 6 year old daughter Ihechi whom you taught at Sunday school is asking a lot of questions and trying to process what has happened. In the 7 months we have been at LCC it is evident that you have run a good race and we all pray your soul rests in perfect peace . Fare well .

Ray will always be my spiritual guide. His love to serve the Lord inspired me to be a disciple. I will miss our long talks about the Lord's word always in agreement and wisdom centered. I know where he is and I know he is in full joy of the presence of his King. Sad I won't be able to talk to him but find comfort knowing he is smiling and singing and worshipping in the fullness of our Savior's presence. I see him leading the songs in joy. What a love he had for the Lord and how it inspired me and that is my memory of my dear friend Ray. I will miss your contagious laugh and our talks. Blessings and comfort to Linda. See you soon my friend when I get home in March. Regards to you and my regerts I will not be able to attend Rays service. Love you and praying for you. ❌⭕❌⭕

Ray was one of the greatest people I have ever had the privilege to have known. He was passionate about life and made everyone around him smile. The glass was always half full and never half empty thru his eyes.
Ray had sterling character that was beyond reproach. He was a great athlete, a fierce competitor, an amazing friend, and a natural born leader.
My deepest sympathies go out to Linda and the entire family. The world is a better place because of Ray's 68 years with us.
Ray will be sorely missed by all who knew him and loved him. But all of us who knew Ray are better people because of the times we got to share with him.
Rest in peace my friend!
