Rita K. Bernard, age 93, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Henry J. Bernard, Sr. Loving mother of Gwen Dupuy (late, Paul), Henry Bernard, Jr. (Pam) and Glenn Bernard (Charlene). She is survived by 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Mike, Lester and Leonard Knatzer. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie, LA on Thursday, April 25, 2013 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until service time. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
