Robert John Gresse III, age 78 passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025. Robert was the son of the late Laura Hunter Gresse and Robert J. Gresse, Jr. He leaves behind his loving wife, Teresita Garcia Gresse, of 34 years, his sister Lynel Gresse Palermo, nephew Joseph C M Palermo, Jr. (Stacy), niece Joslyn Ann Palermo, great nephews Rocco Joseph Palermo and Dane Michael Palermo and great niece Sienna Marie Constantine. Bobby was a graduate of De La Salle High School, New Orleans, LA and Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA. He served in the Navy, stationed on the Kitty Hawk Aircraft Carrier during the Vietnam War. He later retired from Entergy, Nine Mile Point in Westwego, LA.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2555 Apollo Ave. Harvey, LA 70058 on Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Memorial Mass to follow at 11:00 AM.
