Though I have not visited much in the past decades, I very much appreciated visiting with you all a few times these past few years.  Bobby always told very interesting and amusing life-stories; and it was always so obvious how much he was dedicated to and loved Patsy, Rebecca, Robbie, and his grandson Patrick -- and, of course, his extended family. He will be very missed.  Strength and courage to his family in this time of loss.

I'm so sorry on the passing of cousin Bobby Lester. I remember seeing ya'll as little kids and talking with everybody at my grandpa Ledet's house. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. May God watch over ya'll with healing hands during this difficult time.

Bob was a devoted 1956 classmate of Redemptorist and a member of the Band.  The caption next to his graduation picture in the yearbook read:
  "Our first rate sax of the band.  Bob is helpful, always on hand".
  I will add that he was a First Rate gentleman as well.
Bob and Charles Miller were the only two of our classmates who attended St. Christopher Grade School.  Both outstanding band members.  I believe Bob and Patricia, attended every reunion we had for the Class of 1956.

So sorry to hear of Bobby's passing. He just always seemed so vibrant. Our prayers go out to you. He will be missed

Uncle Bobby will surely be missed.  What a loving and kind hearted person he was. He always made me laugh.  As always, keeping you all in my prayers Aunt Patsy, Rebecca, Robbie, & Patrick

When I heard the news of Mr. Bobby's passing, I was suddenly a little girl again, waiting to go with Mr. Bobby to pick up Mrs. Pat at the streetcar line in New Orleans. It has been many years since I was a little girl, but a memory is constant, and it give us a warm place to go during difficult times.  Thank you, Mr. Bobby, for all those afternoon rides.

We started off as young married couples, then we all became parents. We watched our children grow into adults, with children of their own. I have wonderful memories of so many good times spent with you and Bobby. Lifelong friend, you will be missed.  My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

It has been an honor, privilege and blessing, to have known such a humble generous and devoted man. His light was so bright and touched so many. They gift of a joy for life, and love of family drew all of us in. May the many memories he left us with be able to soften the lost of such a wonderful human. All my thoughts love and prayers to you Rob, Becky, Ms. Pat, Patrick, and also to all he touched. Love Haley and John

Pat, Rebecca and Robbie,  my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.  Bob was such an AWSOME Dad, Father, Grandfather and friend to many.  He fought a tough battle.  God has another Angel to look after all of you.

My heart is heavy. Mr. Bob was such a sweet man and he loved his family with all of his heart.  I will be praying for all of you during this tough time.
