OBITUARY

Robert Anthony Marsh Sr.

November 1, 1934August 9, 2018

Robert Anthony Marsh, Sr., age 83, peacefully entered into his heavenly father's arms on the 9th day of August, 2018, with his wife, Jacqueline (Jackie) Marsh and daughter, Michelle de la Houssaye by his side. Robert (Bob) was proceeded by his father, Herbert J. Marsh, Sr. and mother Anna Z. Marsh, brothers; Herbert J. Marsh, Jr., Elmer J. Marsh and Michael J. Marsh. Also his two sisters, Mary Ann M. Mistretta and Betty M. Renz. Bob was a loving husband to Jacqueline (Jackie) for 64 years, the love of his life. His children, Bobby Jr., and Michelle were his two cherished gifts. His daughter Michelle (Philippe de la Houssaye) are parents to Bryce, Reese and Rien. His son Bobby Jr., is father to Gabriella and Madeline. How he loved his five grandchildren. Bob served in the United States Navy Reserves for eight years, and two years active duty as a Submariner on the U.S.S. Perch. Bob was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Dominick Council for many years. He was also a member of the Third District Volunteer Fire Department as Deputy Northside Chief for 18 years. He was a member of Our Lady of Divine Providence Church as an Eucharistic Minister, and also a member of St. Philip Neri Catholic Church. Bob was an Electrician for 46 years (his passion) working for Fisk Electrical, Inc. and Honeywell (IBEW Local 130). The family would like to sincerely thank Rabia Cattie, M.D. Hematology/Oncology and staff, Passages Hospice Nursing Staff and Caretakers. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Catholic Mass of burial at St Philip Neri Catholic Church, 6500 Kawanee Ave. Metairie, La 70003, on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11 AM. Visitation will begin at 9AM. Interment will follow at Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum, in New Orleans. Jackie, Bobby, Michelle, and family, we are deeply sorry for your loss. Bob was such a sweet and kind person. We loved our chats, and time spent, with Bob during Rien's birthday parties, and other gatherings. We will always remember him fondly, and pray for your healing during this difficult time. Though you may feel lonely without Bob, please know that you are not alone. We are here for you, always. May God bless you, and keep you in His loving, healing embrace.

Robert A. Marsh, Sr.

It is with great sadness that today, Robert A. Marsh, Sr., passed away peacefully, with his wife, Jacqueline (Jackie) Marsh and daughter, Michelle de la Houssaye by his side.
Robert (Bob) was proceeded by his father, Herbert J. Marsh, Sr. and mother Anna Z. Marsh, brothers; Herbert J. Marsh, Jr., Elmer J. Marsh and Michael J. Marsh. Also his two sisters, Mary Ann M. Mistretta and Betty M. Renz.
