Robin Elizabeth Furman

Robin Elizabeth Furman entered into heaven on Saturday, October 1, 2011, at the age of 48. Loving and devoted mother of Michael J. Furman (wife, Sarah), Tyler D. Furman (Companion, Dixie), Daniel (DJ) Furman (fiancée, Casey) and Nikki E. Furman. Grandmother of Carter Furman and the late Leland Furman. Daughter of the late Ricki L.Tyler Rogers and Robert Rogers. Sister of Ronnie L. Rogers (wife, Andrea), Joseph A. Rogers (wife, Stacie), Robert M. Rogers (wife, Claire), Terry Rogers, Christopher Rogers, and Christine Rogers. Robin is also survived by numerous loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will also miss her dearly.

She was also survived by her long time companion Jeff Wetekamm and daughter Amanda. A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Metairie.

A retired school bus driver with the Jefferson Parish School System for many years, Bus #215.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering on Saturday, October 8, 2011, from 9:30 am until 11:30 AM at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, an account has been established to assist with the funeral expences at any Gulf Coast Bank.
