Rosalie Lorena Sammartino

Rosalie is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, Frank Sammartino; son, Joseph Sammartino (Lilia); sister, Josephine Delaune; brothers, Victor Lorena & Dominick Lorena. She will also be missed by her extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sam & Mary Lorena; first husband, Joseph Sammartino Sr.; sister, Mary Gurtner; and brothers, Joseph, Ross, Charlie and Tony Lorena.

Rosalie was an active parishioner at Our Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Church. She was a former employee of Wimberley Coat Factory and Aurora Gardens Academy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service in her honor on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Divine Providence Catholic Church in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
