

She was born July 16, 1947, in New Orleans, Louisiana to Emmett and Vita Manguno. She leaves behind her son, Raymond J. Turcotte, Jr. (Tammy Cosse Turcotte), her grandchildren Delaney Turcotte and Chase Turcotte, and her partner of 18 years, Edmond Ganucheau. She also leaves behind her sister, Sharon Manguno Coy (Vernon Coy), her nephew Lance Coy (Joy) and nieces Kerri Coy Jollands (Mark) and Dawn Coy Manza (David) and their children, and her lifelong friends Patricia Zeller (Bobby) and Sandy Haggerty (Michael) and many others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Emmett Manguno and Vita Rosa Manguno, her husband Andre “Dicky” Toups and partner Glenn Joseph Mason.
Rosalie was a proud graduate of Redemptorist High School, Class of 1966 and enjoyed attending reunions and alumni events. She worked at Standard Mortgage Corporation for 34 years prior to her retirement in 2013. She loved cheering for her favorite sports teams, which were mostly any team that her son, grandchildren, nieces and nephew were on, including especially the Archbishop Rummel Raiders, Rhodes College Lynx, and Lake Ridge Eagles. She was proud of her Italian heritage and her Irish Channel roots. She loved celebrations and dancing with family and friends and will be remembered for her wonderful smile, big heart and love of life.
A memorial will be held in her honor on Saturday, March 4, 2023 at Leitz Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA. Visitation will be held from 11AM – 1PM with a memorial service to begin at 1PM.
