Rosario "Chayo" Espinosa, age 64, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2015, after a courageous battle against cancer. Loving mother of Jazmine Duarte (Alejandro Cobar). Proud grandmother of Daniel and Gabriel Cobar. Daughter of Orlando (passed 2002) and Aminta Lopez Espinosa. Sister of Maria Dolores Espinosa, Martha Castaneda (Jorge) and Lizette Espinosa. Aunt of Jorge, Alejandra, Lizette, Frank and Andrea. Loved by other family, friends and all who knew her. She will be sadly missed. A parishioner of St. Clement of Rome for over 27 years. She loved her family "con locura azúl".
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd. in Metairie on Monday, August 31, 2015 from 10:00 am until 12:30 pm. A Memorial Mass will follow at 1:00 pm at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, 4317 Richland Ave. in Metairie. Inurnment at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
