Roy O. Kramer, Sr. passed away on Sunday, May 1, 2011 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Amelia Kramer for 60 years. Father of Roy O. Kramer, Jr. Grandfather of Angela (Michael) Latino and Roy O. (Missy) Kramer, III. Great grandfather of Emily, Michael, Madisyn, Samantha, Colby and Bailey. Brother of Catherine Folse and the late John, Harold, George, Kenneth and Edward Kramer. Also survived by a niece, Ashley Sheppard and a nephew, Stephen Wagner.
Mr. Kramer was a veteran of the Korean War and worked as a projectionist at several of the movie theaters in the New Orleans area.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 6, 2011at 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
