Roy Normand “Pops” Toribio Jr. passed away peacefully on Sunday April 16, 2017. A lifelong resident of Metairie, LA, Pops was a talented iron worker and mechanic.. Pops was preceded in death by his loving parents, Roy Normand Toribio Sr., and Vera Deffes Toribio, his brother Edward Toribio, brother in law Joseph Riles Jr. and nephew Joseph Riles III. He is survived by his son, Roy Normand “Harry” Toribio III, his sister Joyce Toribio Riles, nephew Richard Riles Sr., and nieces Theresa Riles and Lori Riles Petrocelli. Also survived by many great nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to join us in celebrating his life on Monday April 24, 2017 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., in Metairie, La from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
