WILSON Roy L. Wilson, Jr. Visitation for Roy, age 79 of Carriere, MS, who passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012, will be Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories, 4900 Airline Highway, Metairie, LA. Local arrangements are under the direction of McDonald Funeral Home. A private burial will be held at Garden of Memories, Metairie, LA. A Native of New Orleans, LA, he was the second generation owner of Roy L. Wilson Printing, Est. 1932 and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church. Roy was a member of the New Orleans Power Boat Association. Roy was an avid fisherman and hunter. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who will be truly missed.. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy L. Wilson Sr. and Irma Elizabeth Hedrick Schaefer. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Geraldine Wahl Wilson, his son, Roy M. Wilson, his daughter, Sherry Altman and husband David, his grandchildren: Preston Altman, Christine (Neal) Glaudi, Amy (Tommy) Wiendel, and Rebecca Wilson, and his great-grandsons: Nicholas Glaudi and Jaxson Vicknair.
