Ruth Fulco Hall, age 73, passed away peacefully on June 27, 2025, in her beloved home in River Ridge, Louisiana. Born March 6, 1952, in New Orleans, Ruth was the cherished daughter of the late John Anthony Fulco and Doris Ann Schultz.
She was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Patrick (Pat) Hall, and her two loving sons, Steven Hall and Scottie Hall. Despite unimaginable loss, Ruth lived a life marked by strength, compassion, and enduring love.
Ruth is survived by her brother, John Fulco II; her nephew, Johnny Fulco (Crystal Fulco); her niece, Jennifer Corcoran; nephew Christian Huete; and her great-nephews, Brayden and Brees Fulco. She also leaves behind her goddaughter, Tessa Tassin Legaspi; her lifelong best friend and “Two Peas in a Pod” companion, Stephanie Frizzell; and her loyal and loving fur baby, Gracie.
Ruth was known for her quick wit, bold sass, and a memory that was truly unmatched. Whether recalling a family story from decades ago or keeping tabs on everyone she loved, Ruth never forgot a detail. She brought laughter, honesty, and a little fire to every room she entered—and those who knew her wouldn’t have it any other way.
She had a deep love for traveling and especially spending the holidays at her cozy cabin in Tennessee.
Her life was a testament to resilience, friendship, and fierce devotion. Her warmth, loyalty, and vibrant spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
A Visitation for Ruth will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA 70006, followed by a Memorial Service at 7:00 PM. A private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
