Beloved wife of the late Dominic James LaRocca.

Loving mother of Virginia Bennett, James, Ruth, Dominic and Jerome LaRocca, Carolyn LaRocca Tyner and Carl L. LaRocca.

Sister of Lorraine Hullinghorst and the late Catherine Roux.

Also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Mrs. LaRocca was a former parishioner of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church and will be loved and missed by all who knew her.

The family would like to express a special “Thank You” to Hospice Associates of New Orleans, nurses and staff of St. Joseph’s Nursing and Rehab Center and Julius Martin (Carol’s lifetime partner), for the love and care that they provided.

Aged 91 years, a native of Thibodaux, Louisiana and a resident of Harahan, Louisiana for the past six years.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Services from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Friday morning August 27, 2010 at 11:00 a.m.

Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
