Salvador Viverito

Salvador “Sam” Viverito (Vivirito), beloved husband of the late Loretta Stierwald Viverito, passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2011. He was 89 years old. The father of Salvador H. Viverito, Gerard G.Viverito and Linda Glass. Father-in-law of Faye Viverito, Gayle Viverito and Gary Glass. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Son of the late Henry Vivirito and Louise Puglise. Brother of the late Joseph Viverito and Theresa White. A native of Marrero and a resident of Metairie for the past 61 years. He was an Army infantry veteran and Prisoner Of War during WWII and a member of the VFW Post 3267 in Harahan.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 16, 2011 at 1:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
