Sharlee Marie Tassin-Meyer

Sharlee Marie Tassin-Meyer, age 52, of La Place, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2022. Sharlee was born April 9, 1969, in New Orleans, LA to the late Marie Mary Silvy Tassin and Gerald Eugene Tassin. Sharlee is survived by her daughter Amber; her aunt Sharlee Tassin Holbrook (Tim) and her uncle Steve Tassin (Lissette), along with her cousins.

Sharlee grew up in the University City area in Kenner along with many friends that she considered family. She loved her mom and dad dearly. She was always loyal to her friends and loved them with all of her heart. She would be proud to say that she had overcome the obstacles of her past and was living the best life she could. She will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Sharlee will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana 70006. Following the visitation will be a Prayer Service at 11:00 AM at the Leitz-Eagan Chapel.
