Shirley Harrison Cardella passed away on Monday, September 23, 2013 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Cardella, Sr. Mother of Calvin S. Mullen, Chuck H. Dillmann (Eileen) and Robert D. Dillmann. Stepmother of Cindy C. Beniger and Joseph P. Cardella, Jr. Daughter of the late Alberta Toll Harrison and Ernest R. Harrison, Sr. Sister of the late William O. Harrison, Edith E. Fischer, Roy W. Harrison, Ernest Harrison, Jr. and Doris Harrison. Grandmother of Dawn Binder (Trey), Kelly Dillmann, Dustin Dillmann, Christina Nabis, Allen Mullen, Lacy Dilllmann, Robert Dillmann, Jr. and Jesse Dillmann. Great grandmother of Caden, Hunter, Victoria, Robert, Michelle, Heather and Brianna.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Friday, September 27, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitation will begin at 12:30 pm. Interment will be in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum in New Orleans.

In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society, 2605 River Road, New Orleans, LA 70121 are preferred.
