

She was born on December 28, 1935 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Lawrence and Vernie Williams. She had one sibling, Bobby Ray Williams, who preceded her in death.
She was married to Raymond E. Daigle (deceased) on January 23, 1954 and together they had 4 children: Raymond E. Daigle, Jr.(Gina, deceased), Cheryl Daigle Entwisle (Mike, deceased), Patricia Daigle James (David) & Michael J. Daigle.
She was a loving grandmother to 6 grandchildren: Erica, Mike, Jr., Christian (deceased), Shannon, Nicole & Adrian.
She is survived by 14 great-grandchildren: Alexi, Kristin, Taylor, Madison, Kyla, Maya, Ethan, Brendan, Tyler, Gage, Gavin, Clarissa, Tripp & Christian. She also had 9 great-great grandchildren.
At the age of 50, she found her soul mate, Frank Milazzo. They were married in New Orleans, LA on March 25, 1985.
Shirley was also a loving step-mother to Frank’s children: Johnny, Steve, Frank (deceased), Richard, Peggy & Ann.
She was also survived by 12 step-grandchildren & 13 great grandchildren.
Shirley graduated from Soule Business School, where she met her two best friends for life. She worked at various jobs, until finding her forever job as head of Naval Supply Activity in Algiers, where she worked until she retired.
She loved dancing, travelling, good food, socializing, and trips to the casino. She had a wonderful smile that could light up a room.
Along with Frank and close friends, they visited France, Italy, Mexico, Guatemala and many cities across the globe.
Funeral services will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home on February 26, 2022 at 9 A.M. Mass to follow at 11 A.M. in the chapel.
