Stephen Angus Troyer

Stephen Angus Troyer age 62, passed away peacefully on Monday, June 10, 2016 at his home and is now in the loving arms of our Father in Heaven. He was born on April 26, 1954 in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. Steve had a huge heart and was generous to anyone in need and those that he loved. He adored his Family ~especially his Grandchildren. He LOVED animals and always had a dog at his side. Steve loved the Rolling Stones and St Jude Church. He will be dearly missed by his Family and many Friends. “Godspeed my Dear Brother” Steve is survived by his brothers and sisters: James Troyer (Joanne), Richard Troyer, Kathleen Cooper (Dean), Elizabeth Troyer (Jeff). Three daughters: Jessie Shilling-Houston (Thomas), Andie Shilling, Kelsey Shilling. Three Grandchildren: Ruby, Jude, and Pixie. Memorial services will be held at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana 70006 on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11:30 am. Visitation will be from 9:00 am till 11:30 am on Friday, June 17, 2016. Inurnment will be at Lake Lawn Park Cemetery and Mausoleum, New Orleans, Louisiana.
