Mr. Steve Miller

Steven Miller died on Saturday, October 8, 2011 at the age of 48. He was the beloved and cherished son of Collette Baker Miller and the late Morvan Miller. Loved brother of the late Paul Miller. Nephew of Goldie Baker Huguenel, Pauline Baker Centanni, Peter J. Baker and Donald Miller. Devoted step-father of Dr. Chad Abbott of Seattle, Washington. Also survived by close and loving cousins and many friends. Steve was a 1980 graduate of Rummel High School and worked at Entergy for 30 years. He was a lifelong resident of Metairie, LA. Steve had a kind and tender heart, was dearly loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview Pkwy., in Metairie, LA on Saturday, October 15, 2011 beginning at 9:00 AM with a Funeral Mass to follow at 1:00 PM in Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home’s chapel. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Richard Miles. There will be a private graveside service and interment on Monday morning, October 17, 2011 at 10:00 AM at St. Louis Cemetery No. 3.
