Proud great-grandmother of Rebekah McDaniel, Gabriella and Amelia West , Blaze Dubroc and Robert Cox III.

Daughter of the late Clemantina Ramirez Soto and Jesus Soto.

Mrs. O’Neal had six sisters and five brothers and is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

She was a highly regarded and respected former employee of Ochsner Foundation Brent House Hotel. She took great pride in her work there, enjoyed gardening, interior decorating, dancing and walks in Audubon Park and will be loved and remembered by all who knew her.

Aged 76 years, a native of Tegucigalpa, Honduras and a lifelong resident of New Orleans, Louisiana.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial service from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel 4747 Veterans Blvd. Metairie, Louisiana on Monday afternoon August 6, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.

Interment will be private.

Friends may visit from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
