Taylor Edward Townsend, age 23, entered into Eternal Rest to be with with his Heavenly Father on Thursday, November 14, 2014. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home in Metairie.
Survived by his parents, Lisa Rabito Townsend and Merrill E. Townsend III; his brother, Derrick Townsend; maternal grandparents Anthony and Agnes Rabito; and paternal grandmother Yvonne N. Townsend; and numerous family and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Merrill E. Townsend, Jr.
Taylor loved spending time with his beloved family and devoted friends, enjoying sports, cooking, and putting smiles on the faces of everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m., with Words of Remembrance and Sharing at 1:00 p.m. at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, Louisiana 70006. Everyone is invited to remember Taylor with a few words. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to offset Funeral expenses.
