Terry spent the last eight years residing at a nursing care facility in Kenner Louisiana. Though his family could not be by his side at the very end, he was held close in their thoughts and deeply loved throughout his life. Growing up, Terry shared a lifetime of special moments and an unbreakable bond with his sister, creating childhood memories that will be treasured forever. His passing leaves a lasting reminder to those he leaves behind that life is incredibly fragile, time is a precious gift, and we must always remember to forgive, let go of past hurts, and cherish family every single day.
Terry is survived by his daughter, Lindsey Prevost Mayer who is married to Jacob John Mayer and also his precious Granddaughter, Sylvie Grace Mayer and his loving sister, Patti Prevost Ulm who is married to Stephen Ulm.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin Joseph Prevost and Betty Larousse Prevost.
He had a loving family and is also survived by Uncles, Aunts, Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, November 13, 2026 at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA. The family will receive friends for a time of fellowship beginning at 9:00 AM, followed immediately by the Mass at 11:00 AM.
Interment in Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery in Westwego, LA will follow the Mass.
