Thelma Elizabeth Heikamp Lambert

Thelma Elizabeth Heikamp Lambert, age 91, passed away peacefully on Saturday evening, July 11, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Jesse “Jimmy” James Lambert. Loving mother of Gary James Lambert (Grace), Sandra Lambert Morales (Bobby), and the late David Alan Lambert. Grandfather of David Shane Lambert, Tania Lambert Hunter, Natalie Lambert, Gary James Lambert Jr., Alicia Lea Morales, and Kristen Lyn Parker. Also survived by eleven great-grandchildren. Sister of the late John Henry Heikamp Jr. Daughter of the late Thelma Nuss Heikamp and John Henry Heikamp Sr. Thelma was a native of New Orleans and resident of Metairie for over 85 years. She devoted her life for caring for her loving family. She was also the leader of Girl Scout Troop 579, the Junior Youth Leader for Old Metairie Protestant Church, and also served for 10 years for Ridgewood Preparatory School Golden Eagle Booster Club. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service from LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Thursday morning, July 16, 2015 at 11:00.
