Mrs. Theresa Rodriguez Cusachs

Theresa Ann Rodriguez Cusachs passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side on Wednesday evening, May 18, 2016. She was 67 years old. Beloved wife of Maurice Peter Cusachs Jr. of over 45 years. Loving mother of Maurice Cusachs III (Jessica), Rod Cusachs (Kassie), Marie-Theresa Cusachs, Alecia Cusachs Clouatre, and Joachim “Joey” Cusachs (Kayla). Grandmother of Maddy, Caleb, Luke, Jake, Audrey, Porter, Kyle, Cohen, and Asher. Sister of William Rodriguez (Shuri). Daughter of the late William and Bertha Schmidt Rodriguez. Theresa was a native of New Orleans and has been a resident of Metairie for the majority of her life. She received her Masters of Education from Southeastern Louisiana University and retired from the Jefferson Parish School System after over 40 dedicated years of teaching. She recently was a Catapult teacher at Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Theresa was a strong-willed devout Catholic who loved her husband, children, and grandchildren, and devoted her life to sharing knowledge with everyone. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial from ST. ANN CHURCH AND SHRINE, 3601 Transcontinental Drive, Metairie, on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at 11:00.
