Virginia Vedros Kimball

Virginia Vedros Kimball, age 62, of Kenner, Louisiana passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, December 23, 2024. Virginia was born in New Orleans, LA on April 20, 1962 to Bruce Andrew Vedros and Florence Allday Vedros. Virginia loved being involved in the lives of her children and grandchildren. She also enjoyed shopping and playing bingo.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents Bruce and Florence; her beloved husband, Thomas Kimball, Sr.; and her son, Thomas Kimball, Jr.

Survivors include her loving children, Andrew Kimball, Stephen Kimball (Nicole), Christine Dufrene (Joseph), and Crystal Swible (Troy); her grandchildren, Heather Kimball, Stephen Kimball, Jr., Troy Swible, Jr., Joseph Dufrene, Jr., Payton Dufrene, and Anthony Swible; her sisters, Stella Charles (Everest), Susan Pitfield, and Joan Cotton; her brother-in-law, Bobby Kimball (Kathleen) ; and her sister-in-law, Tammy Wintter. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at 1:00pm. Visitation will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
