Wayne Anthony Tortorich, age 56, passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014. Beloved husband of Karen Tumbagahan Tortorich. Father of Jonathan W. Tortorich. Father-in-law of Jessica Ellis Tortorich. Brother of Louis J. Tortorich, Jr. (wife, Pam). Son-in-law of Judith Mura Tumbagahan and the late Peter Tumbagahan. Also survived by his beloved expected grandchild and brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins. Son of the late Louis John Tortorich, Sr. and Joan Parenton Tortorich. Mr. Tortorich was the owner and operator of Ernst Café, was a graduate of Chalmette High School and was a member of St. Augustine's Episcopal Church. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering at St. Augustine’s Episcopal Church, 3412 Haring Road in Metairie, LA on Monday, November 17, 2014 beginning at 2:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 3:00 PM. Interment will be in St. Augustine's Episcopal Church’s memorial garden. A reception in the church’s fellowship hall will follow the memorial service.
