Wendy Pertuit McBride, age 83, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 13, 2016. Mrs. McBride was a native of New Orleans, LA, was a former resident of Kenner, LA and was a resident of Jefferson, LA for the past 52 years. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Russell McBride. Mother of Cheryl McBride (partner, Jim), Glen McBride, Sr. (wife, Melanie), Pam Arcement (husband, Mark) and the late Mike McBride, Sr. (surviving wife, Jeanann) and Gail McBride. Grandmother of Mike, Jr., Bridget, Dylan, Mark, Jr., and the late Glen, Jr. Great grandmother of Tatiana, Jersi, Dorian, Logan and Aidan. Sister of Nelva Abshire, Dwight Pertuit, Newton Pertuit, Noreen LeBoeuf and the late Edwina Pertuit. Daughter of the late Edward Joseph Pertuit and Wendy Abel Pertuit. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Miss Wendy was a very talented seamstress and was best known for her creative endeavors with the Beverly Dinner Playhouse. Miss Wendy cared deeply for her family and she will be greatly missed. Graveside services and interment was held on Saturday morning, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM.
