Will was born February 17, 1959, to Wilfred A., Sr., and Lorraine Trepagnier in New Orleans.
He attended St. Francis Cabrini, Gables Academy, and De La Salle High School. Will graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Nicholls State University. While at Nicholls, he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order.
For 42 years, Will worked in the janitorial and sanitary supply business as a salesman. Throughout his career, he was recognized for outstanding service from both his manufacturers and customers alike. Will was a diehard Saints fan and season-ticket holder all his life. It was the fulfillment of a lifelong dream to travel and see his Saints play and win the Super Bowl in Miami. His favorite time of year was Mardi Gras where he was a member of several krewes. He enjoyed watching all LSU and Tulane men’s and women’s sporting events. Will was also a big NOLA Gold and Pelicans fan. He enjoyed a collection of smokers and grills, and he was always willing to try new recipes. Will was especially known for his crawfish boils. After years of perfecting his crawfish seasoning blend, he finally achieved champion status as a member of the 2025 Judge’s Choice winning team at the Old Metairie Crawfish Festival and Cookoff.
His favorite activity of all was spending time with family and friends – whether it was for the 4th of July holiday, New Year’s Eve, barbeque/swimming get-togethers, or Easter. Will was a repeat and reigning champion in the Esther Toups Family Egg Toss Competition.
Will is survived by his wife, Rosemary Pendzimaz Trepagnier; his son, Wilfred "Walt" A. Trepagnier III (Janice); his grandchildren Juliette, Wilfred “Will” IV, and Nathan “Nate” II; his sister Cheryl T. Charvet (Hunter); his brother David G. Trepagnier, Sr. (Marianna); and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his son Nathan Trepagnier and his parents Wilfred A., Sr., and Lorraine Trepagnier.
