William "Jack" Jackson Allen

William “Jack” Jackson Allen, age 86, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Beloved husband of 58 years to the late Lila Faye Allen. Loving father of Michael Christopher Allen (Joan), Elizabeth D’Ann Allen Clubb (Russ) and Mitchell Davis Allen (Kathleen). Grandfather of Jennifer Nichole Seymour (Mike), Meghan Elizabeth Allen, Joshua Allen Luter, Marcus Jackson Allen and David Arthur Edward Allen. Great grandfather of Charlotte Elizabeth Seymour. Brother of Richard Allen. Son of the late Richard Davis Allen and Bessie Lois Forman Allen. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Allen was born in San Antonio, TX, grew up in Tyler TX and was a resident of Metairie, LA for 48 years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War and was a member and Elder at Parkway Presbyterian Church. Mr. Allen loved to play golf. He always had a beautiful smile and will be remembered for his great sense of humor and very sweet personality. Mr. Allen will be greatly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering at Parkway Presbyterian Church, 6200 Camphor St. in Metairie, LA on Saturday, May 30, 2015 beginning at 10:00 AM with a memorial service to follow at 11:00 AM.
