"Buddy" was preceded in death by his first spouse Catherine Falcon Butler; mother Louise Ross Butler and father Robert L. Butler; and his siblings, Samuel Butler, Lena Mae Andrews, Annie Catherine Wilson, and Jennie Ruth Lejeune. "Buddy" is survived by; his wife Sheila Clayton Butler; children Robert Lee Butler, Sayann Marie Butler Lovell, and Lois Marie Duplessis McClellan; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister; Audrey M. Bordeleon.
"Buddy" worked for Otis Elevator as an elevator mechanic for 44 years, and was a member of the Local #16 IUEC.
