William Joseph Cheatham, Jr., of New Orleans, Louisiana departed this world on October 19, 2021 at 9:30pm at the Chateau Living Center in Kenner, Louisiana. William was born September 27, 1937 to the late William Joseph Cheatham, Sr. and the late Helen Joseph Cheatham. William was the loving brother of Mary Cheatham Lewis, Ernest John Cheatham, Sr., Malcolm Christopher Cheatham, Sr. and the late Royal Adam Cheatham and Alice Cheatham Buckhalter.
A homegoing service will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at the Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, LA 70006. Visitation is from 9am to 11am, followed by a homegoing service beginning at 11am.
