

William “Bill” Simpson McClintock Jr. passed away peacefully on Wednesday morning, October 11, 2017. He was 94 years old and a resident of Kenner, LA for over 30 years. Beloved husband of the late Bernice Schlabach McClintock. Father of Thomas “Tommy” McClintock. Son of the late Ruth S. McClintock and William S. McClintock Sr. Brother of the late Rebekah Lou Scott and Jeanette McClintock. Bill was a native of Refugio, Texas and a graduate of Refugio High School. He made a career in the Oil Industry as a Gauger for Rutherford Oil Corporation and later as a Contract Gauger for numerous other companies. He enjoyed fishing and spending time at the camp. His later years were devoted primarily to taking care of Bernice through her battle with Alzheimers. Bill will be dearly missed. His family would like to extend their most sincere gratitude to the great people of Colonial Oaks Living Center and St. Catherine’s Hospice. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a memorial service at LEITZ-EAGAN Metairie, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, on Monday morning, October 23, 2017 at 11:00.
