Worthy Charles Lemoine

Worthy C. Lemoine, our beloved father, grandfather and great-great grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at the age of 106. He was born on August 29, 1904 in Plaucheville, LA and was a resident of Metairie, LA for 63 years. He is survived by four children: Theresa L. Alonzo (L.J.) of Baton Rouge, LA, Jerry J. Lemoine (Iris) of Mandeville, LA, Don Lemoine (Lori) of Fredericksburg, TX and Reba Breaux (Lucas) of Metairie, LA.; 11 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 28 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Edith Dufour Lemoine; his parents, Marious Lemoine and Armantine Lacour Lemoine; two children, Minnie L. Aguillard and W.C. Lemoine; a grandchild, Travis Breaux and several brothers and sisters.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie. Visitiation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
