Yvonne Carrie Lauret

Yvonne C. Lauret, age 94, joined her heavenly father on Wednesday, January 18, 2012. She was a telephone operator for many years at hotels and hospitals in the New Orleans area. Preceded in death by her parents, Octave D. Lauret and Corinne Traub Lauret and her brothers, Octave and Theo Lauret. She will be missed by her sister, Elsie Maggio; her nieces: Holly Maggio, Renee Maggio, Joan Jackson, Suzanne Maggio and Christina Manning and her nephews: Ronald Maggio, Brian Maggio, Sr., Brian Maggio, Jr. and Matthew Fletcher.

Her family wishes to thank the staff, nurses, and doctors of Metairie Healthcare and Harmony Hospice for their care of Yvonne.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive in Metairie, LA on Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am. Interment in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
