Zachary Patrick Aschenbrenner

Zachary Patrick Aschenbrenner, age 32, of Destrehan, LA, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at Ochsner Lafayette General Hospital in Lafayette, LA. Zack was born on August 16, 1992 in Metairie to Aric Aschenbrenner and Tammy Lynn Guillot. Zack grew up in the Kenner/Destrehan area where he attended and graduated from St. Philip Neri Catholic School and Destrehan High School. He was an avid New Orleans Saints fan and NBA fan. Growing up, Zachary was a constant presence at Girard Playground beginning at the age of 5, enjoying baseball, football, and basketball. He enjoyed spending time with his children and being involved in their daily lives playing games and all the activities they enjoyed doing.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Gerry Aschenbrenner and his uncle, Danny Guillot.

Zack is survived by his parents, Aric Aschenbrenner and Tammy Lynn Guillot; his children, better known as "The CMA's", Christie Marie and Cade Michael and their mother Meagan, Caeson Matthew and his mother Erika, and Caliya Madeline and her mother Brandi; grandmothers, Diana Chiro (Butsy Chiro) and Fready Guillot; and his aunt, Amber Aschenbrenner Evans (Stephen Evans). Also survived by numerous loving cousins and other family and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral mass at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie, LA on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at 1:00pm. Visitation will be from 11:00am until 1:00pm. Interment will be private at a later date.
