Zilda M. Broussard

Zilda M. Rabalais Broussard, born May 1, 1940, entered into eternal rest at the age of 72 on Thursday, December 27, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Merlin J. Broussard. She is also preceded in death by her parents, Valance and Olivette Rabalais, and her siblings, Pearl Miller, Louis Rabalais, Bertrand Rabalais, Ruth Ortego, Wiltz Rabalais and Richard Rabalais.

She leaves behind a sister, Henrietta Bordelon, and she is also the loving mother to Mary B. Serrette (Rennie), Albert V. Broussard (Brenda Livaudais) and John B. Broussard (Leah). She will also be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Daniel Bordelon, Samuel Bordelon (Sarah Bassett), Elizabeth Broussard Whitney (Jeffrey) and Eric Broussard, as well as a host of family and friends.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service to be held at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Drive, Metairie, LA on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 11:00 Am. Visitation begins at 9:30 AM.

Interment will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
