Play Tribute Movie

Born in Colombia, Alcira was vibrant, fun, silly, generous and loving. As she matured, she completed Business school then moved to the U.S. with her mother and sisters. Navigating her new life in America, Alcira found the love of her life, “Franco”, her Gallego.

Together, they worked tirelessly to provide for their family and maintain their home and businesses. With her husband, Alcira owned and operated their own well-known Manhattan and Queens Spanish restaurants until relocating to Miami, with their three loving daughters.

Alcira continued to work alongside Franco in operating their Miami Beach Hotels and maintaining their current Spanish Restaurant, El Gallegazo Restaurant, all the while loving her family and enjoying hosting family gatherings and parties in her home. Many memories were created throughout the years for her dear family and friends, poolside with food, mariachis, music and more during birthday, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve celebrations. Alcira adored her husband, daughters, and grandchildren, always making sure they were well fed, cared for with her home remedies when sick, and loved with her great affection. She enjoyed outings with her sisters and many friends, and especially loved art, home décor, flowers, and always maintained her home adorned with exquisite art and décor unique to her taste.

Alcira will join her dear mother, Antonia, in Heaven and will be greatly missed by her husband, Marcelino Francos, her daughters, Zoraida Castañeda, Calina Montalvo, and Marinelly Francos, her beloved grandchildren; Angel Vázquez, Isaiah and Calina Montalvo, as well as her sisters, Calina Garcia and Mariela Huguet.

You are invited to join the family in celebrating her life dressed in your brightest attire for her final farewell.
