Alexander Gimenez, beloved Son, grandson, cousin, nephew, friend, teacher, mentor, dog dad to Tommy. Graduate of Belen Jesuit Preparatory High School and Cornell University. Worked for the Boston Red Sox, the Professional Women’s Hockey League, and then to his dream-of-a-lifetime job with the Boston Bruins. He was an Adjunct faculty member at the Cornell ILR school.
He took on this cancer journey and battle with incredible strength and grit; he never stopped trying and never stopped living his life. Over the past 2 years, he continued to hike, get his 10,000 steps a day in, traveled, went to concerts, many friends' weddings. He took on challenges, continued to be there for others helping former students, mentored, and taught.
He was never concerned about his own advancement but felt great success and pride helping others succeed. Alex will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.
Visitation will be held at Caballero Rivero Westchester, 8200 Bird Road, Miami, FL 33155 on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 from 5:00 to 10:00 pm. Words of Remembrance will begin at 8:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
